Testimonials

"First a big thank you to you and your staff at the Christian rehab. It saved my husband's life and has ended up bringing our entire family closer together. It proved more difficult than I ever could have imagined to find a Christian rehab. It seemed so many other rehabs said they were Christ centered, but upon further investigation, it was just a marketing scheme. I m happy to say your rehab restored my husband's faith along with blessing him with his sobriety."
Ann B., Cleveland, Ohio

"I am now sober for eight months and active in church again. Who would ever have thought I could do it. I was so scared, but you made my detox comfortable, could always have used more medication though, just a joke. I am attending Christian counseling two times a week and it really helps. Again thanks, taking it one day at a time!"
Brad C., Jacksonville, Florida

"My son's life was a mess. He had been arrested twice for DUI's and was only getting worse each and every day. If it wasn't for your treatment center, I can't imagine where he would have ended up. I would recommend your Christian rehab, as he calls it, to anyone."
Beverly W., Omaha, Nebraska

"A Christian drug rehab, who would have thought I would have ever ended up there. Although when I took a look at my college studies it was clear I majored in opiates and alcohol. As you can tell, I have regained my sense of humor, am back in school and have put together six months of continued sobriety. I just wanted to say thanks."
George H., Knoxville, Tennessee

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Dual diagnosis treatment is a form of care available in addiction treatment centers where clinicians have the ability to address a person's drug addiction and coexisting mental health disorder concurrently.

At Lakeview's A New Life Recovery Center, we place an emphasis on Christ as the higher power and source of strength throughout the recovery process. The dual diagnosis treatment at A New Life offers patients the opportunity to attend church services and set aside time for prayer and reflection and also includes pastoral services and counseling.

Types of Mental Health Disorders Requiring Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Conditions of co-occurring dual diagnosis disorders may involve drug addiction, alcoholism or even an eating disorder. Dual diagnosis treatment is quite common in drug and alcohol rehabs, with more than 60% of patients admitted suffering from some type of mental health disorder along with their addiction. When providing dual diagnosis treatment, we have found there is no one particular prominent mental health disorder. All can be treated successfully.

Mental health disorders in commonly found in dual diagnosis treatment cases include:
