As Christians, what do most of us say when we get out of a jam unharmed?
“Thank God!”
What do we say when things turn out bad , even when it because of our desire to do against God’s Will?
“God, where are you when I need you?”
The answer is simple. He is the same place He is at all times, by your side.
“If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” 1 Corinthians 3:15
God does not want you to feel pain, and will never leave you. He will, though, allow you to go through situations where you lose everything, to gain Him.
Have you lost your job? Have you lost your home? Have you been incarcerated? Yes, these are “fiery” situations, but they are not for nothing. Just as God has saved us from many a fire, He often saves us BY the fire.
