No one was born an addict. Addiction is born out of abuse, misuse and victimization, and often the addict plays a strong part in their own pain. Regardless of the onset of the addiction, the Lord still wants to heal you. God is calling all those who are hurting from drug addiction, and alcoholism to come to him so that he can give you comfort. Even if you thought the drugs or the alcohol could fill void, you are only making it worse. What once started as a small hole is only becoming wider and deeper with every drink or every sit. But be encouraged, God can fill any void regardless the size.
