The Clinicians at our Florida Christian Alcohol Rehab understand the importance of God in the recovery process. The therapists do not however ignore the physical and mental aspects of the disease. Biblical Scripture is combined with the best medical practices, Christian Counseling, and behavioral therapies in the overall treatment of the alcohol addiction.

Many Alcoholics struggle with their religious belief system; unable to forgive themselves and unable to accept that God will forgive them either. The Christian Therapists at our Florida Christian Alcohol Rehab know that faith alone is not enough. When someone is suffering with medical complications, mental health issues and any combination of consequences as a result of their self abuse it takes dedicated professionals trained in addiction treatment to bring the patient to the point where belief can start to heal.

As patients at our Florida Christian Alcohol Rehab start the Christian Addiction Treatment through sound therapeutic practice, therapists can begin to incorporate faith based principals in their daily treatment regiment. Powerful examples from the Bible help patients identify with feeling of shame and guilt and begin to accept that God is always ready to forgive. Through this process the patient is developing the deeper relationship with God that is necessary for their ongoing recovery.

Have you ever awakened in the middle of the night with no idea where you were and no memory of the last few hours? Your mouth is very dry and you are disoriented. You may have been sick while you were passed out; the results are drying on your face and your clothing. Since you are reading this blog you can probably indentify with this scenario or someone you care about has had this experience. Surrender is very difficult thing for most Alcoholics but that is what it takes to change your life. Entering a Christian Alcohol Rehab can be your first step in starting a new life.

The degradation alcoholics go through on their downward spiral causes severe damage to their spiritual core. Their behaviors often directly contradict their belief system formulated in their early upbringing. Repeated offences against their family and friends as well as constantly feeling like a failure themselves causes a devastated self esteem. It is at this point they start to consider addiction treatment. Our Christian Alcohol Rehab in Jacksonville, Florida is well suited to replenishing that spiritual void felt by Alcoholics.

Many people find their way back to God or find God when they are at their lowest point, Alcoholics are no different. Our Christ Centered Treatment Program will gently guide the patient back to sobriety. The Medical Detox in our Christian Alcohol Rehab will treat the physical affects of prolonged alcohol abuse. As the patient moves from Detox to rehab our Christian Therapist will fill that void and rebuild the patient’s spiritual core.
The big question on everyone’s mind now that they know tht Santa is in a alcohol abuse rehab is whether he will get out of the Florida alcohol abuse rehab before the New Year. This is not as easy as one might think because the length of time one is in an alcohol abuse rehab depends upon a number of factors and in many cases denial and resistance to treatment propongs ones lenght of stay.

The Florida alcohol abuse rehab program refused to comment on the status of Santa due to confidentiality laws, but it suffice to say the alcohol abuse program is a four to six week program so New Year’s could be a problem. Historically many people want to leave their alcohol abuse rehab prematurely around this time of year so if any of you receiove a phone call from Santa to come pick him up from the Florida alcohol abuse rehab, call his therapist first. This goes especially for Rudolph who has been his greatest enabler.

Reports are flying that Santa was seen entering a alcohol abuse treatment program in Florida. Accompanied by Rudolph and Blitzen, Santa was noticeably “out of it” as he had fallen out of the sled when he landed. The staff at the alcohol abuse treatment program in Florida had to come out and assist the fallen warrior into the Florida alcohol treatment program.

The staff understands how difficult it will be to protect Santa’s anonymity as this writer has already been made aware of the admission to the alcohol abuse treatment facility. There is the distinct possibility that a person like Tiger Woods has dressed up to look like Santa to disguise his admission to the alcohol abuse treatment facility, but we do not believe this to be true as Tiger Woods would probably bring the entire alcohol abuse treatment facility staff to his home in Jupiter.

We wish Santa or Tiger the very best and his results are positive when leaving the alcohol abuse treatment facility in Florida. We also want to thank Rudolph and Blitzen for bringing to the alcohol abuse treatment program in Florida as it was clear that Santa needed some warm, sunny weather as a change of pace from the cold.

I just finished a Christian alcohol rehabilitation program which opened my eyes not only to alcoholism recovery but to Christianity as a whole. For years I blamed Christ for my alcoholism and need to go to a Christian alcohol rehabilitation program. I was so angry that I stopped going to Church and basically blamed the Church for everything wrong in my life. It is incredible now that I am in alcoholism recovery how much I was in denial and had to blame others for my misfortune. Funny how my misfortunes turned out to be blessings in disguise.

Looking for an Christian alcohol addiction recovery facility in Des Moines Iowa, well you will not find one. For all of the Christians in Des Moines, Iowa and the degree of alcohol addiction, one would think that there would be an alcohol addiction recovery facility for Christians. Because of this lack of an alcohol addiction recovery facility, many residents of Iowa travel to Jacksonville, Florida.

Jacksonville, Florida happens to have one of the best Christian alcohol addiction recovery facility in America. With the focus on Christian values, alcohol addiction recovery is possible. The key is that when treatment is completed and the person returns to Des Moines, Iowa to identify an appropriate professional to support the person’s addiction recovery. So while a Christian alcohol addiction recovery facility might not exist in Des Moines, professional Christian therapists do.

I grew up in Iowa and was taught all about the Christian faith. Unfortunately it wasn’t for me but my parents continued to pressure me to get involved in Christian teachings. With the pressure so great I eventually turned to drugs and alcohol. It is easy to see I developed a drug and alcohol problem early but the signs of the drug and alcohol problem didn’t begin to surface until my early 20’s. Until then there was no reason to consider getting help for drug and alcohol problem.

Soon, I quit going to church as I focused more and more time around drugs and alcohol. After my second DUI I began to realize I might have a drug and alcohol problem and need help, but I wasn’t willing to get that help. About four months later I wrecked my car and accepted help for drug and alcohol problem.

Drug and alcohol treatment wasn’t so bad and now I also attend Church and 12 step meetings. Who would have ever thought I would like Church, but who knew I could live a happy life without drugs or alcohol.

Alcoholism treatment for Christians does not differ greatly from alcoholism treatment for other faiths. There is of course one great exception and that is the belief of Jesus Christ as a higher power. Not all faith based treatment centers use Christ as their higher power. Some of the faith based treatment centers might have Buddah or other spiritual entities, but with regards to alcoholism treatment for Christians it is Christ.

In any alcohol rehab that provides alcoholism treatment the first step is alcohol detox. Alcohol detox for Christians is no different than for anyone else. The key lies in administering certain medications to manage withdrawal symptoms. Alcohol detox usually takes between three and seven days.

Alcoholism treatment, which is not alcohol detox, may take upwards of six weeks to be followed by participation in Alcohol Anonymous or Celebrate Recovery. A few of the services you can expect to encounter in alcoholism treatment for Christians that is different than traditional alcoholism rehab are prayer, bible study, pastoral counseling and church attendance.

Christian Counseling emphasizes addiction must be dealt with today, each today of your life. You have to wake up today and say that today I choose not to participate in active addiction. One excellent way to do that is to start off each day with prayer. At “A New Life” Christian Drug Rehab the clients start the day by telling God you know you have a problem, and you want him to deal with it.

Clients may be away from home and their church but continue to hear the word. Those in Christian Rehab will learn whatever their addiction, Paul says instead fill yourself with the Holy Spirit. We believe the scripture teaches that the Spirit is the word of God, it follows that the more you apply that word in your life, the less you will participate in your addiction.

Using Scripture that directly relates to the clients immediate situation in life allows them to use The Bible in conjunction with traditional therapy to increase their chances of long term recovery.
